Vatsal Chandra is a result-oriented and detail-focused Advocate based in Delhi, currently associated with NJ Law Chambers.   • Company Law: Experienced in handling shareholder disputes, matters of oppression and mismanagement, investigations under Section 213 of the Companies Act, and ROC-related proceedings. Regularly appears before the NCLT and NCLAT in such matters.

  • Insolvency & Bankruptcy: Represents Corporate Debtors, IRPs, Operational and Financial Creditors in CIRPs under Sections 7, 9, and 10 of the IBC. Also handles related applications under Section 60(5), settlement-based withdrawals, and resolution plan approvals.

  • Intellectual Property Litigation: Engaged in trademark and copyright disputes, including civil IP suits, injunction matters, and opposition proceedings before the Trade Marks Registry.

  • Civil & Commercial Disputes: Experienced in contractual enforcement, recovery suits, consumer disputes, and property-related litigation before District Courts, Consumer Commissions, and Commercial Courts. 

  • Family and Criminal Matters: Advises and appears in matrimonial disputes, domestic violence complaints, and criminal complaints under IPC and special statutes.

Vatsal has played a critical role in several high-stake IBC and Company Law matters, representing clients ranging from individual promoters to mid-sized corporates and resolution professionals. He has independently handled procedural and strategic aspects of NCLT litigation, including complex pleadings and settlement negotiations. His exposure spans both original and appellate jurisdictions, including assisting in appeals before the NCLAT and High Court.

Prior to joining NJ Law Chambers, Vatsal worked with PP Jewellers’ in-house legal team where he handled litigation involving matrimonial, criminal, and civil matters. As an independent practitioner, he advised clients on trust registration, defamation cases, and POSH compliance.

Vatsal is currently pursuing the Company Secretary Executive Programme and is an active member of both the Delhi High Court Bar Association and the NCLT Bar Association.
